Minyoung Kim was named Vice President of Content for Asia (ex-India) in June 2021. In this role, she oversees all films and series for the region, including Emmy® winner ‘Squid Game,’ ‘Girl From Nowhere,’ and ‘The Naked Director.’ She joined Netflix in 2016 as one of the first content executives based in Asia, building Netflix’s slate of Korean original series, in addition to helping open our Korean office. Prior to Netflix, Min led Twitter’s Content Partnerships across the Asia Pacific region. She started her career at Creative Leaders Group Eight Inc. and built her expertise in international business while working at NBC Universal (France) and CJ E&M (Korea).
