Brandon Riegg was named VP of Nonfiction Series & Sports in March 2019. Since joining in 2016, he helped launch Netflix’s original unscripted programming slate, including ‘Queer Eye’ and ‘Love is Blind.’ Brandon currently leads the teams behind Netflix’s diverse slate of unscripted and documentary series, including 'Squid Game: The Challenge,' ‘Formula 1: Drive to Survive,’ and 'Sean Combs: The Reckoning,' as well as live programming such as Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson and our NFL and MLB games. He also oversees original podcasts and transmedia. Before Netflix, Brandon was Senior Vice President and co-head of NBC’s alternative programming department and Executive Director of Alternative Series & Specials at ABC. He also held roles at Mark Burnett Productions and Carsey-Werner-Mandabach Television, and was Director of Series Development & Original Programming at VH1. Past honors include Fast Company’s Most Creative People in Business in 2020 and The Hollywood Reporter’s Next Gen list in 2011. Brandon is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania.
